I came out with 31 yards of fabric for a fraction of the original cost. Most of it is light background colors, which I always need.
I am so happy to report that I did find some matching fabric to fix the hole in my pink star quilt.
I just finished fixing it.
I just added a small patch of fabric instead of painfully picking out 1.5inch stitches along all sides of the entire piece. Nobody but me will even notice it once it's all quilted. I don't know if you can see it with this picture. You may need to click to enlarge.
I am hoping to get it sandwiched this weekend.
